~ Purpose ~

Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) as per International Labour Organisation (ILO), provides a broad perspective to the seafarer’s rights and fortification at work. Regulations and proper use of MLC 2006 is essential for ship’s crew given rights and requirements which will be demonstrated in this training course.

Participants will gain and enhance their onboard rights and knowledge on Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC). Know what are minimum requirements for seafarers, employment agreement requirements, food standards, onboard accommodation standards, health, welfare and social security and other regulations set by MLC.
