~ Purpose ~
In maritime transportation, there are many hazardous & dangerous goods (classified as per IMDG code) and it needs special safety attention for users as they are posing additional risk to handle. See why dangerous goods labeling, material safety data sheet (MSDS) and proper segregation is very important.
~ Objectives ~
Participants will acquire knowledge how to safely handle any dangerous goods on board according IMDG Code. To properly recognize marking and labeling, know how to load and store dangerous goods using segregation rules as per IMDG Code, follow up on all needed documents, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and manifests which are required prior its handle.
