Confined Space Rescue (CSR) - ONLINE

~ Purpose ~

This course is designed for personnel who are members of rescue teams or may be involved in rescue operations onboard vessels or at onshore / offshore facilities. It focuses on the techniques, procedures, and safety measures required to conduct rescue operations effectively while minimizing risks to both casualties and rescuers.

~ Objectives ~

Participants will learn how to plan and execute rescue operations systematically, ensuring that casualties are assisted safely and without unnecessary delay. The course covers the correct selection and use of rescue equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification and risk assessment, and the specific dangers associated with confined space rescue. Particular emphasis is placed on following established safety procedures, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring that rescuers do not expose themselves or others to unnecessary risks during rescue operations.
