~ Purpose ~

Increased maritime traffic, vessel size and tight / restricted passage areas contribute to increased and higher risk of a human error (which is statistically mostly the case of accidents / incidents at sea). Navigation at sea is a dynamic operation and there are many factors which are affecting it. Safety at sea is a hot topic and needs to be taken seriously.

Participants in this course will gain better understanding on watchkeeping duties, COLREG regulations and how to in timely manner apply it for enhanced safe navigation. Any delay or proper command could have a catastrophic outcome for crew and the vessel safety.
