Benzene Awareness - ONLINE

~ Purpose ~

This training course focuses on the hazards associated with benzene exposure in the workplace. As benzene poses serious health risks, personnel working in environments where it may be present must have an appropriate level of awareness and understanding of the associated hazards. The course provides essential knowledge and guidelines to help participants anticipate, recognize, and assess potential benzene exposure, as well as understand the measures required to control and minimize exposure risks in industrial workplaces.

~ Objectives ~

By the end of the course, participants will understand what benzene is, where it may be encountered, and the health hazards associated with exposure. They will also become familiar with the appropriate procedures to follow in the event of suspected benzene exposure, relevant preventive and control measures, and the correct selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize exposure and protect their health.
