Antipiracy Training - ONLINE

~ Purpose ~

Due to the ongoing threat of maritime piracy in various regions of the world, seafarers must maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness. This course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond appropriately to piracy incidents, protect themselves and their crew, and minimize potential risks. During a pirate attack, even a single inappropriate action or gesture can have fatal consequences.

~ Objectives ~

Participants will learn how to respond effectively to piracy incidents, carry out their assigned duties under stressful conditions, and implement appropriate security procedures. The course also covers effective shipboard security measures to deter and prevent pirate boarding, the appropriate procedures for retreating to a designated safe area (safe haven or citadel) when necessary, and the correct use of communication systems and distress alert procedures during a piracy incident.
